New music of January 2022
In this first month of 2022, some amazing new music has been released by Belgian artists. I already talked about Stromae who released his second single since his comeback, but there is also other great new music that was released this month, from the newest album by Mustii to new singles from The Starlings and Luka, there is something for everyone.

Stromae surprises fans by premiering second single "L'enfer" live on TV
After doing his comeback with "Santé", now Stromae did another stunt by premiering his second new single "L'enfer" live on TV. He did it during the news on French TV when he was there to talk about his music and life.

Best Belgian music of 2021
2021 was a crazy and weird year, but we still had great new Belgian music that was released. We had amazing new albums from Oscar & The Wolf, Angèle, Balthazar and the debut album of Camille who had a big hit with her debut single Vuurwerk. Also some big hits this year were De Wereld Draait Voor Jou from Regi and Niels Destadsbader, Where Are You Now from Lost Frequencies, the debut single Freedom from The Voice winner Grace and the comeback single Santé from Stromae. Angèle surprises fans by releasing new album 'Nonante-cinq' a week earlier
Angèle's second album 'Nonante-cinq' was scheduled to release on December 10, but fans got a big surprise when the singer-songwriter announced on her Instagram live that she was going to release the album a week earlier. And she did. The album is now available online. The physical copy is still releasing on the expected date of December 10.

Oscar and the Wolf drops new album 'The Shimmer'
Oscar and the Wolf released its third album 'The Shimmer'. It consists of 11 songs including the singles "James", "Oliver" and "Livestream". It has been since 2017 that there was a new album from Oscar and The Wolf who was on tour until 2019 for the Infinity-tour. Lead singer Max Colombie was in the studio then to write songs and now we got the result in this amazing third album full of glitter and glamour.

The Sore Losers release new album 'Ultra Elektric'
After releasing several singles these past few weeks, The Sore Losers are here now with their new album 'Ultra Elektric'. It consists of 12 songs including the singles "Tightrope", "Yeah Yeah Yeah", "Birds of a Feather" and the latest single "Heavyweigh Champion". The Sore Losers are back to rock it out after being stuck at home.

Angèle shows her love for Brussels in "Bruxelles Je t'aime
After having one big artist from Belgium back with Stromae, our other big star Angèle is also back with a great new song. It's titled "Bruxelles Je t'aime and is about her hometown Brussels, the capital of Belgium. It's a fun song with a great danceable beat. After going international with Dua Lipa, Angèle is going back to her roots.

Olivia sings about "Unforgettable Nights" in new single
Olivia who was previously known as OT and had a few bigs hits with Regi, is back with another fun song. It's titled "Unforgettable Nights" and hearing the song you can also get Unforgettable Nights with it. The song itself was released last week and this week the music video for the song was released.

The maestro is back! After a radio silence of 8 long years, Stromae is back with new music. The song is titled "Santé" and will stay in your head. It's a great song that is very danceable and fun to listen to. Stromae is really back and that with an amazing song.

Milo Meskens releases new EP 'A Letter'
Milo Meskens released his newest EP titled 'A Letter'. It consists of five songs including the singles "Fool", "Daddy Issues" and "Undershirt" which he all released earlier this year. The other two songs are "A Letter and Twenty Different Songs" and "Khloe".

Sean Dhondt drops new single "Dangerous"
Sean Dhondt released his fourth solo single. After "Snoop", "Killer Smile" and "1984", he is back with this new single titled "Dangerous". It's another fun song that gets stuck in your head. This new single, as well as the other singles, will be on his upcoming debut album which is releasing later this month.

The four members of Stikstof are back together after making music by their own. They are back and released their new album 'Familie Boven Alles' (Familye Over Everything). It consists of 14 songs that are all great songs with thoughtfull lyrics. It's another great album from the hiphop group.

Milow is spreading good vibes with new song "DeLorean"
Milow hasn't stopped making music this last two years while being at home due to the pandemic, and now he released a new song he wrote during this period. It's called "DeLorean" and is a beautiful song with a hopefull message. Milow already performed the song this summer during his concerts and now he officially released it.

Oscar and the Wolf is coming with a new album they announced. With the announcement of the album, the band also announced their new tour and they released a new single which will be on the album. The song is titled "Livestream" and is another typical fun song from Max Colombie and his wolves. This is the third single of their upcoming album 'The Shimmer' releasing later on October 22.

Regi found his singer for new single "Duizend Sterren"
These last few weeks, Regi has been looking for his new singer for this new song. This week was the final of the Regi Academy and now we know who won the whole thing and is the new singer of Regi. It's Pauline and you can hear her sing on this new single of Regi titled "Duizend Sterren". Pauline already performed it live on several radio stations, but her first real performance of the show will be during Regi's show at the Sportpaleis.

Charlotte Adigéry release a new song with her frequent collaborator Bolis Pupul. The song is titled "Thank You" and is a thank you note to fans but also haters. Soulwax co-wrote and co-produced the song which you can also hear. It's a fun upbeat song taht will make you move and want to dance.

Tessa Dixson releases new single "Creep"
2020 was supposed to be Tessa's year, but like everyone knows, nothing went like we wanted to last year. In 2019, Tessa Dixson won De Nieuwe Lichting which should have been her big break, and last year she released her debut album 'Genesis' with several festivals and concerts that were planned to promote it. But nothing of all this could happen. A few days before she was supposed to start performing, everything changed. All of her performances were cancelled and she had to stay at home like all of us. But this didn't stop her from making music. She kept going and now she is back with another new song. It's titled "Creep" and is a typical Tessa Dixson song. She wrote it two years ago before the whole pandemic started, but only released it now.

Niels Destadsbader is back stronger than ever with new album 'Sterker'
The pandemic changed the whole plan of Niels but now he's back. Before playing the Sportpaleis three times later this year, he released his newest album. It's titled 'Sterker' (which means Stronger). Niels himself also became stronger because of everything that happened and is ready to perform again. He performed the title track for the first time live on TV on Thursday in The Cooke and Verhulst show and now the whole album is out.

Mooneye releases debut album 'Big Enough'
This summer Mooneye released the title track of their debut album which they released now. Two years ago, the band won De Nieuwe Lichting which was the start of their career. Now they released their debut album. 'Big Enough' consists of 10 songs including the title track and one featured artist which is Meskerem Mees, the winner of Humo's Rock Rally of last year.

The Sore Losers drop new single "Birds of a Feather"
Next month, The Sore Losers are releasing their upcoming album 'Ultra Elektric', but not before releasing another single. It's titled "Birds of a Feather" and is another great rock song full of amazing guitar sounds. The song is five minutes long, but it never gets boring.

Three months ago, Camille released her debut solo single "Vuurwerk". It's a great song and a big hit and now she released her debut album which is also titled 'Vuurwerk'. It consists of 16 songs including her debut hit single "Vuurwerk" and the the two hitsingles she has with Regi that they made for the TV show 'Liefde Voor Muziek'.

Bazart releases new album 'Onderweg'
After having a big hit with their second single "Goud", everything went fast for the band. Bazart which exist of Simon, Oliver and Mathieu released two successful albums already and now they released their third album 'Onderweg' which can also be a success. It consists of ten songs including the single "Alles of Niets" and their big hit "Denk Maar Niet Aan Morgen" for whichc they got a golden and platina record. It's another great album from the band.
