Emma Bale releases debut album 'Retrospect'

Emma Bale finally released her debut album. It's named 'Retrospect' and consists of 12 songs of her own including the latest singles she released with also the covers she did on Liefde Voor Muziek being on the digital version of the album. Emma Bale already had some big hits which are not on the album, but the songs that are also very beautifully done and show how much she has grown as an artist.

Everything started in 2014 for Emma Balemans, which is her real name, when she participated in The Voice Kids. She didn't win the thing, but really wanted to do something with music, so she kept going. She released a cover of Kodaline's "All I Want" which became a hit and the rest is history. Since then she has released several great songs like "Fortune Cookie" and "Run". We had to wait a while before her debut album and now it's finally here.

'Retrospect' consists if 12 songs which are all new songs and some singles that she released these past two years like "Greedy", "Mindgames" and "Everything You Are". All the singles she released during the first few years of her career, are not on the album. Like the title says, the album is a retrospect, a look back at her life to go on. The album is a collection of her growth, her lessons learned. And you really hear the growth she did as an artist and as a human being on the album. There are several sounds on the album, from pop to R&B to some disco, there is something for everyone.

This debut album of Emma Bale is a good start and I'm excited to hear more from her. I also hope to see her perform those new songs live soon, because music always sounds better live. This is only her debut album, so there is a lot of music from Emma Bale to look forward to.
