Niels Destadsbader is back stronger than ever with new album 'Sterker'

The pandemic changed the whole plan of Niels but now he's back. Before playing the Sportpaleis three times later this year, he released his newest album. It's titled 'Sterker' (which means Stronger). Niels himself also became stronger because of everything that happened and is ready to perform again. He performed the title track for the first time live on TV on Thursday in The Cooke and Verhulst show and now the whole album is out.

'Sterker' consists of 12 songs including the title track, the hit single "Nooit Alleen" and the summer hit of this year "De Wereld Draait Voor Jou" which he made with Regi. Niels Destadsbader has been touring and performing this whole summer after not being able to due to the pandemic. He was very happy to be able to be on a stage again. In Nomveber he will be performing at the Sportpaleis, not once, not twice but three times in a row. For these concerts he wanted new music to be released, so he made this new album.

The album is once again very personal to Niels. The title track "Sterker" is written for a very good friend who died of cancer this summer. She heard the song once before she died and she really liked it. There is also one song titled "Eline", who is his sister-in-law and for who he wanted to make a song. It's once again a very beautiful and very personal album that will make you laugh and cry.

If you want to see Niels Destadsbader perform his new album live, you have to be quick to get tickets to his concerts in the Sportpaleis, because it's almost all sold out. He's going to be performing three days in a row, on November 26-27-28. You can get tickets on his website.
