Hooverphonic releases Eurovision Song "The Wrong Place"

In two months it's the Eurovision Song Contest in Rotterdam. After being cancelled last year due to the pandemic, this year it will happen, but then without an audience. Hooverphonic is representing Belgium, like you would be last year. Now they released the song they will perform at the contest. It's named "The Wrong Place" and is anohter typical Hooverphonic song.

"The Wrong Place" is a good song, better than "Release Me" in my opinion, which was the song they released last year for the contest of 2020. "Release Me" was much slower. "The Wrong Place" is a little more upbeat and is much more fun to listen to. It's not a typical Eurovision song and they probaly won't win, but a place at the finals and a top 10 place at the end is reasonable.

Hooverphonic was going to represent Belgium last year with Luka as the lead singer, but since the end of last year, they got Geike back as the lead singer of the group. So she is the one singing in the song and the one that will perform it too at the contest. Several Eurovision songs were revealed and released this week including this one for us, Belgium. The whole thing is happening in Rotterdam where it was supposed to happen last year. The first semi-finals are for May 18, the second semi-finals for May 20 and the finals will happen May 22.
