Oscar and the Wolf is back with new song "James"

After a break of a bit more of three years, Oscar and the Wolf is back with new music. The first new single they released of their upcoming album is "James". The title refers to the name of the son of frontman Max Colombie's nephew and best friend who died during a car accident while his wife was pregnant. Max Colombie's nephew, who died two years ago, left behind his wife and son who was named James.

After performing the last concert of their Infinity Tour at the Lokerse Feesten in 2019, Max Colombie decided to take a break. He still worked on new music and a third album is coming after their latest album 'Infinity' which was released in 2017. "James" is the first new single in four year and is the first single of the upcoming album.

"James" is a nice typical song from Oscar and the Wolf. It has nice gituar melodies and more like we heard before from the band. The song is almost six minutes long, which is long for a song now, but it's that good that you don't even notice it. It's a beautiful song that makes you want the summer to arrive and see the beautiful sunrise or sunset. It's a great summer song and that become another hit single for the band.

With the song, they also released a music video for "James", in which we see Max Colombie and some friends riding along and having fun. It goes pefectly with the song and the need of wanting the summer and having a good time with friends.
